Description

Area with dark environments or landscapes:

Astronomical observatories of international category, national parks, areas of natural interest, special protection areas (natural network, bird protection zone, etc.), where the roads are not illuminated.

Brightness or low brightness area:

Peri-urban or suburban areas of cities, undeveloped land, rural areas and sectors generally located outside urban or industrial residential areas, since the roads are illuminated.

Medium brightness or brightness area:

Urban residential areas, where roads (roadways and sidewalks) are illuminated.

Brightness or high brightness area:

Urban centers, residential areas, commercial and leisure sectors, with high activity during the night time slot.
